DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers open their final series before the All-Star break on Friday night at Comerica Park. The Tigers (59-35) play the Mariners (48-45) at 7:10 p.m. Catcher Jake Rogers; infielder Trey Sweeney; and outfielders Matt Vierling and Jahmai Jones will be avaialable off the bench. Here's a look at the pitching matchups for the series between Seattle and Detroit: Luis Castillo is coming off arguably his best start of the season. He struck out eight and allowed two hits in seven innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 5. It was his fifth quality start in his last seven outings.
