President Donald Trump weighed in on CBS’s announcement that it is canceling Stephen Colbert’s late-night talk show — and he’s hopeful Jimmy Kimmel will be next to get axed. CBS said Thursday that it plans to end "Late Show With Stephen Colbert" in May 2026,
President Trump may not have exactly taken credit for getting Colbert fired, but he sure is happy about it. “I absolutely love that Colbert’ got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings,” he wrote on Truth Social this morning.
Plus, the Republican-led House passed a $9 billion package that includes spending cuts to NPR and PBS, as well as foreign aid. Donald Trump is expected to sign the measure.

Schiff reminded viewers of Trump’s attacks on him. “Ever since I led his first impeachment, he’s threatened me with jail, prosecution, called me a traitor, accused me of treason… blah blah blah,” he said. Then Schiff turned directly to the camera with a message for the president.
