Paul Corcoran, a Fitchburg resident, bought two separate Powerball tickets with the same numbers for the July 9 drawing that each won $1 million before taxes. The first was bought at a Fitchburg Market Basket, and the second came from Country Farms on North Main Street in Leominster.

The winning numbers in Monday evening’s drawing of the "Powerball" game were: (eight, twelve, forty-five, forty-six, sixty-three, Powerball: twenty-four, Power Play: two)

A lucky winner in Arizona did manage to hit the Match 5 with the Power Play (2x), which won them a cool $2 million before taxes.
