Both are located on the southeastern side of Little Kiska Island, adjacent to the larger and more prominent Kiska Island, at the far end of the Aleutian chain 1,450 miles from Anchorage.
Nazi Creek was renamed Thursday to Kaxchim Chiĝanaa, an Unangax̂ phrase replacing a name originally assigned by World War II-era soldiers.
