Greg Sankey reiterated that the SEC and Big Ten hold all the cards when it comes to the future CFP format, but conceded that it may stay the same if an agreement can't be reached.

The Big Ten, which has won the last two national championships, favors a 4-4-2-2-1 format, giving four automatic bids each to the SEC and Big Ten and awarding the ACC and Big 12 two bids apiece.
