Big man Kristaps Porzingis is ready to reignite his NBA career after recently being traded to the Atlanta Hawks.

The Celtics president of basketball operations met with reporters Tuesday for the first time since the team finalized its offseason moves.

Porzingis has a healthy summer ahead of him where he expects to work on his game, as well as compete with the Latvian national team in the Eurobasket Tournament. The competition begins Aug. 27 and runs to Sept. 14, with games taking place in Cyprus, Finland, Latvia and Poland.

Brad Stevens spoke about the impact of the duo in a team release announcing the deal on Monday.

The Atlanta Hawks officially welcomed Kristaps Porzingis on Monday while waiving forward David Roddy one day after he was acquired in the NBA's first seven-team trade.
