MONTROSE COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Officials are ordering evacuations in Montrose County because of the South Rim Fire. They ordered these on Saturday. It’s for residents on M73, N73, N74 AND O74 roads. They are asking that you leave the area immediately. So far, that fire is nearly 3,000 acres and 0% contained.
The Wright Draw Fire, near Gateway, Colorado, burned an estimated 34 acres Friday afternoon, according to the Upper Colorado River Interagency Fire Management Unit. Aerial crews continue to monitor the fire as plans to suppress it are underway.
