An oil field was set on fire after a drone strike in Iraq's Dohuk province, in the Kurdish region. The incident on Tuesday is the latest in a series of attacks on oil facilities in northern Iraq.

The United States Embassy in Iraq, in a statement: "The United States condemns the recent drone attacks throughout Iraq, including the July 14 and July 15 drone attacks on critical infrastructure at the Khurmala and Sarsang oil fields in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region."

The strike came a day after other explosive-laden drone attacks were reported elsewhere in Kurdistan, including at an airport. No one has claimed responsibility.
