WFXR – Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, released more than 230,000 documents related to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Monday’s release was in response to President Trump’s Executive Order 14176.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said the files include discussion of potential leads, internal FBI memos detailing the progress of the case and more.

It was not clear whether the release would shed any new light on King’s life, the Civil Rights Movement or his murder.
