Kate Middleton didn't join Prince William at the Royal Charity Polo Cup a few days after pulling double royal duty to support the state visit from France.

Kate Middleton bowed out of a recent polo match. The Princess of Wales, 43, was absent from her husband Prince William’s charity polo match on Friday. The Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025 took place at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor and raised money for various charities and causes.

The Princess of Wales recently admitted that after her cancer battle, “You’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to.”

In a twist, the latest portrait of William and Kate is actually the second photo that they have recently released in connection with a major event that was taken outside. Following the Trooping the Colour festivities organized in King Charles ' honor on Jun 14, the couple shared a family photo snapped on steps.

During this year’s Trooping the Colour, Prince Louis, 7, was seen showcasing his personality as his big brother Prince George, 11, kept him in line.

For her state banquet gown, Kate chose a dark red Givenchy evening gown designed by Sarah Burton, who also designed the princess's wedding dress. Kate and William shared their looks ahead of the state banquet on social media, captioning a photo, "Ready for what promises to be a wonderful State Banquet this evening in Windsor."

Cameras captured Prince William and Princess Kate with their fingers linked as they descended the Royal Dais at Datchet Road at Windsor Castle. The sweet move might have been to help Princess Kate keep her balance as she navigated the stairs, as she wore heels for her meaningful debut in a Christian Dior.
