Oakmont Country Club banned 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark because of damage he caused to his locker, president John Lynch said in a letter to members.

Wyndham Clark is in 21st position, with a score of -5, after the second round of the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club. Wyndham Clark has played in 24 tournaments in the past 12 months. His best finish was fifth, and his average finish was 30th, with one top five.

Chris Gotterup kept his composure during Saturday’s round at The Scottish Open, carding an even-par to remain firmly in the mix. His consistent approach put him in the final group for Sunday’s decisive round – alongside none other than Rory McIlroy and Wyndham Clark.
