Now that rookies have reported to camp, it’s a good opportunity to revisit the projected 53-man roster for the Miami Dolphins. Back in May, at the start of organized team activities (OTAs), Dolphins Wire published a projected roster.

On Tuesday, Aug. 26 the Dolphins (along with every other team in the NFL) will trim their roster from 90 players to 53 ahead of the start of the regular season. While several of those waived players will later return as members of the practice squad, a larger number will be jettisoned into free agency.
