Severe flooding due to heavy rainfall in West Bengal's Ghatal has resulted in the death of three people, including a 7-year-old girl.

Six gram panchayats and 13 wards in West Bengal are inundated, but water levels are stabilising, bringing some relief. Rescue operations are ongoing.
