Two new presenters have reportedly been ‘confirmed’ for MasterChef following the axing of Gregg Wallace and John Torode. Earlier this week an independent review commissioned by production company Banijay into misconduct accusations against Wallace, 60, upheld 45 of the 83 allegations, leading to his official removal from the cooking reality series.

With his voice cracking, one MasterChef worker describes the drama of the past fortnight, which has seen both its presenters sacked in quick succession - first Gregg Wallace, and then John Torode. "I'm in shock with it all. It's raw, and fresh," adds the member of production staff - who wants to remain anonymous.

The two TV chefs replacing John Torode and Gregg Wallace on MasterChef have reportedly been unveiled. It's believed Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt and Great British Menu star Andi Oliver will become the new hosts of the BBC cooking show.
