P atrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the start of training camp later this month. With the 2025 NFL season right around the corner, the team is looking to get the sour taste of last year's Super Bowl loss out of their mouth.

The Kansas City Chiefs are still one of the top teams in the AFC and NFL. Even after a disappointing loss in February that prevented the NFL's first "three-peat," Patrick Mahomes and Co. could come back stronger next year after offseason moves.

The Chiefs had four players start at left tackle last season, top receiver Rashee Rice missed most of the season, as did Marquise Brown. And running back Isiah Pacheco appeared in just seven games. That likely explains why Mahomes was voted as the NFL's top quarterback in an ESPN survey of league executives, coaches and scouts.
