The Prime Minister is due to discuss border security with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz this week as Sir Keir Starmer called illegal migration “a global problem”.

Police have released information about the number of arrests at tonight's Oasis gig in Heaton Park. The second night on Saturday saw nine arrests to add to the six from Friday.
